Insisting that I was something other than a human male or female as a child did not make me non-binary.

Really. I insisted that I was a rabbit.

I also was boggled by the fact that there were people who apparently had no interest in the concept of body-swapping.

Those things didn’t make me non-binary, but they were damn good clues to it.
